 Survival Suit | Uk waters are cold. Without suitable protection your survival time is measured in minutes and not hours. The European standard for immersion suits says that the body must not loose more than 2degs in one hour in water of 5degs. This suit showed a temperature loss of 1.5degs in one hour. Wearing this suit will dramatically increase your survival chances whist waiting for rescue. | £10 |
 Personal Locator Beacon | Your chances of making a safe landing on water in a light aircraft are good. It is important then to be found and this piece of kit will help rescue services locate you quickly. The device transmits on 406MHZ which is the new frequency used for emergency location. The device is also fitted with a GPS to ensure speedy and accurate pin-pointing of your position. These are mandatory for light aircraft travelling to France and come highly recommended for microlights. | £10 |
