(Assistant) Flying Instructor

Location:
You will be based at our new school at Blackbushe Airport, Surrey.

Position Within The Company:
You will be reporting to the instructor/manager at Blackbushe.

The Role:
You will be responsible for the training of both ab-initio students and air experience flights. If you currently have AFI status you will be provided with the supervision and support needed whilst you develop your skills to become an FI.

Specific Responsibilities To Include:

• -Teaching of students to include air experience flights as well as ab-initio
• -Teaching ground school subjects
• -Meeting and greeting customers
• -Basic aircraft maintenance
• -Managing diary for students (not air experience flights)
• -Meeting walk-in enquirers as well as arranged visitors
• -Updating student records and taking payments
• -Occasional other duties to ensure the smooth running of the school

Salary:
You will receive £23.50 per hour minimum (dependant on experience) for actual time flown/logged in an instructional role. You will also have the opportunity to increase your wage with the teaching of ground school and other peripheral roles.
